It’s The Time Of Year That We All Get Outside More and Dedicate Time To Take The Dog For A Walk!

Dog-Gone puppy.run

Whether your walking along the beach, or up on a hillside, or in a fenced dog park, Spring and excitement is in the air for both you and your dog. Dogs just want to run after being inside for most of the winter months. So you need to be even more diligent in keeping a close eye on your dog if you are not using a dog leash. Your dog may just dash off into the unknown with this new freedom they haven’t had for awhile.

So if walking your new puppy or new member to the family or untrained pet and decide to let “Fido” off the leash don’t assume they will come running when you decide it is time to go home. Or that they will stay be in the fenced area without having make an effort to sneek out, jump out dig out or simply vanish.

If they did dash off, it may be quite the challenge finding them and getting them back home safely. So don’t forget to put a post on the AWPCP page if you have lost your dog, and we will call on the community at large to help find your “Fido” and bring him back to you.
